ALL MY LIFE, I’VE BEEN A WOMAN OF ACTION.

I’m not the kind of person who is happy to sit back and watch. This quality of mine has led me down very diverse career paths by challenging myself to do things outside my comfort zone.

I pursued my passion working as a doula, bringing new life into the world.

I became a ski patroller to fulfill my desire to help those in need.

I’m a businesswoman and entrepreneur. I am the co-founder and a shareholder of the international company and innovative training style known as Studio Lagree. I’ve also owned and managed an aesthetics spa. I understand the responsibility and satisfaction of providing a livelihood for employees and growing a business.

However, the role I pride myself most on is being a parent. I am a mother of two grown children. The complexities of juggling family and career is not an easy task. However, I worked hard to develop the tools to ensure I could help my children develop their potential and give them the life skills needed to become respectful, independent, and successful young adults.

But my life hasn’t been perfect.

I understand loss.

At 14, I lost my sister. I watched her death destroy the people around me and my parents’ marriage. By 21, I was on my own, both financially and emotionally independent, without support.

A child of divorce, my own marriage of 20-years ended in divorce. Years later, another long-term relationship dissolved. I’ve had my share of disappointment. I’ve endured grief, hardship, and heartbreak.

But each of these experiences taught me valuable lessons. They shaped who I am. Throughout my life, I have faced and conquered adversities and new challenges head-on. I don’t believe in just surviving in life, I believe in succeeding.

Outside of work, being a woman of action for me means staying physically active. I am an avid downhill skier, rock climber, and cyclist. I enjoy tennis, golf, cross country skiing, hiking, and snowshoeing. I love new adventures and challenging myself physically.

For decades I’ve helped many people deal with loss, life changes, conflict, and parenting. Essentially, I’ve been life coaching almost all my life. Now I’m devoting myself to this work because of the encouragement from those that I have helped. I completed my training through the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and Co-Active Training Institute. However, I am always seeking new resources and research to improve my skills and bring the best to my clients.
